| Patricia moved from Ottawa, Canada to Columbia, South Carolina in 1991 to pursue her Master's degree at the University South Carolina. While in school, she worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Palmetto Health Richland. Upon completion of her degree, she established herself as the first Nurse Practitioner in a Neurosurgical Practice in Columbia, SC and founded the Nurse Practitioner Focus Group of Columbia. Since the birth of her two children, she has worked as an APRN in the role of Neonatal Clinical Nurse Educator.
Patricia's past professional experience includes pediatric/infant medical-surgical, post partum, high risk pregnancy education, as well as advanced practice family medicine, neurosurgery and neonatal intensive care.
She has practiced in St. Thomas, USVI as a traveler and was accepted in the Nurse Doctorate (ND) program at the University of South Carolina.
